MetaOption LLC is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee land development projects from concept to completion. The role focuses on expediting schedules, maintaining standards, and budgeting.

You will manage design, permitting, and bond processes while coordinating with internal teams and external consultants. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and a VA PE license, with 7+ years of land development experience and proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia (or reciprocity within 6 months).
• 7+ years of experience overseeing land development for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and amend drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and execution of land development projects from concept through completion.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and budgets from inception through design, permitting, construction, and bond release.
• Develop, monitor, and manage cost projections, budgets, resource plans, change orders with contractors and consultants; keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and agencies to ensure compliance and timely approvals.
• Review and approve invoices, change orders, and payment applications; oversee site plan development and infrastructure designs.
• Prepare RFPs and manage competitive bidding; evaluate proposals and present award recommendations.
