Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required at time of employment.
• PE license required.
• Ten or more (10+) years of experience in the land development industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Civil3D and civil engineering design software.
• Familiarity with reading construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical leadership and QA on staff output.
• Market firm capabilities and build client relationships.
• Serve as senior technical consultant to internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan and supervise work of staff or technicians.
• Drive profitability and project growth.
• Establish and maintain contacts with engineers and officials; influence bids and procurement.
• Create and analyze civil engineering processes and standards.
• Review bids and advise on vendor/consultant selection.
• Oversee projects to meet time and budget targets.
• Ensure compliance with codes and permits.
