Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to lead and grow our land development practice from Parsippany or Freehold, NJ. You will supervise engineers, designers and CAD technicians, manage budgets, engage clients, and drive project profitability through effective leadership and collaboration.

You will apply extensive civil engineering experience and project management know-how to deliver timely, cost-effective solutions and build lasting client relationships with developers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Land Surveying, Planning, or related discipline.
• Ten or more years of experience within the A/E industry and/or in land development with project management experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of civil project engineers, designers and CAD technicians to plan, schedule and execute land development projects.
• Coordinate with internal departments and clients to meet project requirements and budgets.
• Drive profitability and growth of projects and manage client relationships.
• Prepare and direct designs, specifications, plans, estimates and reports for projects.
• Review cost sheets and ensure projects stay within budget.
• Support marketing and business development to establish new clients and retain existing ones.
• Supervise project personnel to ensure high professional standards.
• Collaborate with offices across the organization and with clients and agencies.
