Bohler’s Boca Raton, FL office is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer who will lead site design, grading, utilities, and permitting on complex projects across South Florida.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and project leaders, review designs for quality and compliance, and mentor junior staff while advancing your technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of land development design and permitting experience.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and construction requirements.
• PE license is beneficial; EIT required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with junior engineers and designers.
• Perform hydrology and earthwork calculations using Civil 3D.
• Contribute to project budgeting and workload planning.
