Job summary
Bowman Consulting in Sunrise, FL is seeking a Civil Engineer III to join our team. You will carry out complex assignments developing new civil engineering techniques for land/site development, and coordinate with clients, agencies, and design teams.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 5+ years in land development, and proficiency in Civil3D/AutoCAD. PE preferred; the position may involve hybrid work arrangements to support project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required at time of hire.
- Professional Engineer license preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in the land development industry.
- Experience with Civil3D and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of zoning regulations and permits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Receive broad guidance and apply extensive knowledge to complex assignments.
- Assist with marketing to establish new clients and relationships.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, clients, agencies, and design teams on complex issues.
- Review and interpret zoning regulations across municipalities.
- Assist obtaining local and state permits for land development projects.
- Lead in technical direction and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Serve as liaison between clients, agencies, and design teams.
