Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. seeks a Civil Engineer III to join our Tempe, AZ team. The role involves leading complex land development projects, collaborating with clients, agencies, and design teams, and applying advanced civil engineering techniques.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in civil engineering, 5+ years in land development, and a PE is preferred. Proficiency with Civil3D, AutoCAD, and related software is required. Hybrid/onsite work arrangements may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required at time of hire.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Five or more (5+) years of experience in the land development industry.
• Land development engineering experience and skills; drainage and BMP design.
• Experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD and related civil design software.

Responsibilities

• Review zoning regulations and interpret them for land development.
• Lead technical direction, reviews, and QA of engineering work.
• Assist with client marketing and development of new projects.
• Develop initial civil design approaches for land/site development.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and sub-consultants on complex projects.
• Prepare reports, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Conduct field investigations and constructability reviews.
