CPH, a leading multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm, seeks a Senior Civil Engineer with a Florida PE to join its land development team in Tampa. The role leads design teams, develops action plans, and ensures successful project delivery with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in civil engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida is required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with land development/site design.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the design team during conceptual and development phases.
• Develops detailed action plans and resource estimates for labor, materials, and timelines.
• Evaluates and selects vendors based on technical competence and resources.
• Monitors progress and costs against estimates, adjusting as needed.
• Represents project status to senior leadership with progress and risks.
• Collaborates with operations to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
• Coordinates with project engineers across locations to share knowledge.

Location: Tampa, FL

Senior Civil Engineer, PE to join our dynamic and collaborative land development team in Florida!

Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus!

Duties Include

• Leads and manages the design team during the conceptual and development phases of projects.
• Develops detailed action plans and resource estimates for labor, materials, and timelines required to successfully complete projects.
• Evaluates and selects vendors based on technical competence, capabilities, resources, and financial stability.
• Monitors project progress, comparing actual performance and costs against established estimates, and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Partners with the design team to revise and refine project plans in response to challenges or changing requirements.
• Prepares and presents regular project status reports, including progress, risks, and financial updates, to senior leadership.
• Reviews and analyzes existing equipment, facilities, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality improvement, and cost reduction.
• Collaborates with operations teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate with project engineers across other locations to exchange knowledge, solutions, and best practices.
• Manage a staff of junior engineers and delegate work as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• 5+ years of engineering experience with land development/site design projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida
• Experience with Civil 3D and ICPR
