CPH is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer – Land Development in Tampa, FL. The role requires PE licensure and at least 5 years in land development/site design, with proficiency in Civil 3D and ICPR. You will lead the design team from concept through delivery, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance while mentoring junior engineers.

The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and opportunities to drive technical excellence within a top design firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with land development/site design projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with Civil 3D and ICPR.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the design team during conceptual and development phases.
• Develops detailed action plans and resource estimates for labor, materials, and timelines.
• Evaluates and selects vendors based on technical competence and financial stability.
• Monitors progress, compares costs to estimates, and recommends adjustments.
• Collaborates with teams to revise project plans in response to challenges.
• Prepares and presents regular project status reports to senior leadership.
• Reviews existing systems to identify efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Collaborates with operations to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions.
• Coordinates with project engineers across locations to share knowledge.
• Manage a staff of junior engineers and delegate work.
