Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Design Engineering team in a hybrid role across North America. You will provide technical leadership for site development, reclamation, restoration, stormwater, and civil infrastructure projects, guiding them from planning through construction.

Expect collaboration with environmental scientists, geotechnical and water resources engineers, and project managers.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering required.
Minimum 8 years of civil engineering experience.
Proficiency with 3D civil site design using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar.
Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (HydroCAD, HEC-HMS, SWMM or similar).
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead civil engineering design efforts from proposal development through final design and construction support.
Provide technical leadership and act as trusted advisor to project teams and clients.
Oversee grading plans, drainage layouts, earthwork optimization, and quantity estimates using 3D design tools.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
Support client engagement, scope definition, and budget management for civil design tasks.
