Job summary

Kleinschmidt is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team and develop designs for dam removals, embankment repairs, fish passage facilities, recreation facilities, and renewable energy projects across the U.S.

You will provide construction support, lead project delivery from concept to issued-for-construction drawings, and mentor junior staff in a hybrid work environment with 2-3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation or licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior staff on all stages of project delivery from conceptual designs to issued for bid construction drawings.
• Coordinate design development and ensure technical quality across projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff; manage scope, schedule and budget.
