Responsibilities

• Directs project staff in completion of designs and provides guidance on complex design issues.
• Advises and supervises personnel and consultants to maintain productivity and standards.
• Monitors design progress and prioritizes engineering efforts to meet schedules.
• Develops engineering documents and reviews estimates for highway contracts.
• Supervises staff with performance evaluations and hiring recommendations.
