Job summary

State of New Hampshire is seeking an Engineering Technician V in the Bureau of Highway Design at 7 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH. You will provide technical guidance and mentor staff while supporting highway project plans, specs, and estimates.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in engineering and seven years of engineering experience, with two years at the Engineering Technician IV level, plus a valid driver's license and statewide travel capability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required with major in engineering or related field.
• Seven years of engineering experience, two at a level equivalent to Engineering Technician IV.
• Valid driver’s license and access to transportation for statewide travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentor team members in plans, specs, and estimates.
• Train and instruct in CAD/D processes to support project development.
• Monitor daily progress to support schedules and coordinate completion of work.
• Coordinate information with bureaus, agencies, and utilities.
