Job summary

Ramboll in the Americas is seeking a Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer – Data Centers to join the Civil Engineering and Design team. Hybrid role across US offices (PA, WA, TX, LA). The role focuses on site feasibility, layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting for data centers and large industrial sites.

You should have a bachelor's (or master's) in Civil Engineering and about 5+ years of relevant experience; PE license is strongly preferred and comity licensure is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering and ~5+ years of civil/site engineering experience.
• PE license strongly preferred, with ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Experience with land development and site civil design for large projects.
• Strong project management, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data centers and large industrial projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and client communications across multiple projects.
• Direct site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting work.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and authorities while navigating codes and standards.
• Mentor engineers and CAD staff and support business development.
