Job summary

Ramboll invites applications for a Civil Engineering Project Manager to join the Civil Engineering and Design team within the Environment & Health division. You will lead site feasibility, master planning, permitting, and design for data center and large industrial sites, coordinating with engineers and specialists.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and about 5+ years of relevant experience; a PE license is preferred, with licensure by comity in target states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of civil/site engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred, with ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Extensive land development and site civil design experience for large, complex projects (industrial, logistics, manufacturing or mission-critical).

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data center, mission-critical, and large industrial projects from site selection through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, client communication, proposals, and subconsultants across multiple projects.
• Direct technical work including site layout, grading, stormwater, drainage, utilities, access roads, erosion control, and permitting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and authorities while navigating codes, permitting requirements, and development standards.
• Review technical deliverables, mentor engineers and CAD staff, support team growth, and contribute to client development and market expansion.
