Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Data Center group, where you will lead civil design for land/site development, perform site evaluations, and support site selection and investment decisions. You will ensure schedule, technical quality, and due diligence across multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with architectural, energy and power, water, environmental, permitting, utilities, transportation, geotechnical, and real estate professionals

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a PE license.
• At least 15 years of site development and industrial project experience.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with Navisworks and ArcGIS.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary due diligence and design teams.
• Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development, master planning, and site selection for large data center facilities.
• Perform technical due diligence for greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Develop grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting strategies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, energy, water, and environmental streams.
• Prepare permitting packages and deliver technical memoranda and reports.
• Support site acquisition decisions and investment evaluations.
