Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Data Centers/Advanced Manufacturing group in the United States. You will lead civil design, site selection, and due diligence for large-scale facilities, coordinating with architectural, energy, water, environmental, and permitting teams.

You will manage complex assessments, develop grading and drainage analyses, and guide projects from feasibility through construction while collaborating with clients and local authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required or actively pursuing licensure.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development, master planning, and site selection for large data center facilities.
• Perform technical due diligence for greenfield and brownfield opportunities.
• Prepare grading, drainage, utilities and environmental impact analyses.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, energy, water/wastewater, and permitting disciplines.
• Develop and submit permitting packages and execution-ready design documents.
• Lead site acquisition support, due diligence reports, and executive-level recommendations.
