Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for its Data Center/Advanced Manufacturing teams in the United States. You will lead site development, feasibility, and due diligence for large-scale facilities, coordinating with architecture, energy, water, environmental, and permitting teams.

You’ll document findings and guide clients through site selection and investment decisions. You’ll manage lead roles on complex projects, supervise design efforts in Civil 3D, and interface with AHJs to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and PE license required.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.
• Strong ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and communicate findings to clients.
• Experience with site feasibility, due diligence, and capital project planning.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Navisworks, and ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development, master planning, and site selection for large data center facilities.
• Drive due diligence efforts for greenfield and brownfield sites.
• Prepare grading, drainage, and utility plans; evaluate permitting challenges.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across disciplines.
• Produce due diligence reports, memos, and executive recommendations.
• Lead conversations with AHJs and client leadership; oversee permit packages.
• Develop site selection criteria and scoring methodologies.
• Prepare and review construction drawings and technical specs.
