Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Data Center group in the United States. You will lead land/site development, feasibility studies, and technical due diligence for challenging projects, coordinating across disciplines to meet client expectations and schedules.

You will oversee site selection, permitting, and infrastructure assessments, drawing on Civil 3D, Navisworks, ArcGIS, and related tools to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license.
• 15+ years of engineering experience including site development and industrial projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development and master planning for large data center facilities.
• Lead technical due diligence for greenfield and brownfield development.
• Perform site feasibility assessments including grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary due diligence teams across disciplines.
• Prepare permitting packages and executive-level recommendations.
• Support site acquisition and investment decision processes.
• Conduct hydrology analysis and stormwater design.
