Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Civil Engineer/Senior Civil Engineer to join our Environment & Health team in a hybrid-based role across our US offices, including Texas. You will lead site feasibility, grading, drainage, and permitting for data center and large-scale industrial projects, coordinating with AHJs and multidisciplinary teams.

Applicants should have a Civil Engineering degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, with a PE license strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering with ~5+ years of civil/site experience.
• PE license strongly preferred; ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Experience with land development and site civil design for large, complex projects.
• Strong project management, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
• Experience working with AHJs and Civil 3D; familiarity with permitting practices in target states.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data center, mission‑critical, and large industrial projects from site selection through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, client communication, proposals, and subconsultants across multiple projects.
• Direct technical work including site layout, grading, stormwater, drainage, utilities, access roads, erosion control, and permitting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and authorities while navigating codes, permitting requirements, and development standards.
• Review technical deliverables, mentor engineers and CAD staff, support team growth, and contribute to client development and market expansion.
