Ramboll in the Americas is hiring for a Civil Engineer to lead site feasibility and design for data center and large industrial projects. You’ll work within the Civil Engineering and Design team in a hybrid setup and collaborate across disciplines to deliver permitting-ready plans.

You will guide site layouts, grading, drainage and utilities, while coordinating with AHJs and clients in multiple US markets. A PE license is preferred and 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of civil/site experience.
• PE license strongly preferred, with ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Extensive land development and site civil design experience on large, complex projects.
• Strong project management with budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
• Experience working with AHJs and leading multidisciplinary teams; Civil 3D and permitting practices in PA, WA, TX, or LA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data center and large industrial projects from site selection through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, client communication, proposals, and subconsultants across multiple projects.
• Direct technical work including site layout, grading, stormwater, drainage, utilities, access roads, erosion control, and permitting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and authorities while navigating codes and development standards.
• Review deliverables, mentor engineers and CAD staff, and support team growth and client development.
