Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Data Center group. You will lead civil design for land/site development, perform due diligence, and collaborate with architectural, energy, water, environmental, and real estate professionals on large-scale projects.

You'll drive site selection, permitting packages, and risk assessments while coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive assessments and viable development strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.
• Experience conducting site feasibility studies and due diligence evaluations.
• Experience supporting site selection, land acquisition, or capital projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development and master planning for large data center facilities.
• Perform technical due diligence for greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Develop grading plans, earthwork analyses, and drainage design.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering disciplines.
• Prepare permitting packages and executive-level feasibility reports.
• Lead conversations with AHJs and regulators.
