Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Data Centers/Advanced Manufacturing group in a hybrid, nationwide role. You will lead site development, feasibility studies, and due diligence for large industrial projects, coordinating across disciplines to inform site selection and investments.

You will guide the preparation of permits, civil design packages, and technical memorandums while collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
PE license required.
15+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

Lead site development and master planning for large data center facilities.
Perform technical due diligence for greenfield and brownfield opportunities.
Prepare grading plans, earthwork analyses, and drainage designs.
Coordinate multidisciplinary due diligence teams across civil, architectural, energy/power, water/wastewater, and permitting.
Lead permitting package development and executive-level recommendations.
