Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Data Centers/Advanced Manufacturing practice in the United States. You will lead site development, due diligence, and permitting for large data center and industrial projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to meet schedule and budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
PE license required or ability to obtain.
Extensive site development experience for large industrial Projects.

Responsibilities

Lead site development, master planning, and site selection for large data center facilities.
Lead technical due diligence for greenfield and brownfield development opportunities.
Perform site feasibility assessments including grading, drainage, utilities, permitting, and constructability.
Evaluate development risks and opportunities for prospective project sites.
Support site acquisition, investment, and development decisions.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, energy/power, water/wastewater, environmental, geotechnical, transportation, permitting, and utilities.
Prepare due diligence reports, memos, risk assessments, and executive recommendations.
Lead permitting packages and coordinate with AHJs.
