Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead and supervise project teams on dam, power, and infrastructure assignments. You will perform calculations, field work, coordinate tasks, and interact with clients to deliver high-quality design and construction services.

This role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, developing project scopes and budgets, and leading multi-disciplinary teams from proposals through final designs. Travel 10–20% to support Lexington, KY and Nashville, TN projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with reciprocity ability desired.
• Travel 10–20% to support projects in multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff and promote collaboration across teams.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams on proposals, planning, feasability through final designs.
• Coordinate with clients, owners, and contractors to ensure scope and budgets are met.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record on projects and oversee design and construction services.
• Develop project objectives, procedures, and performance standards; manage budgets and schedules.
