Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in the United States is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead civil projects across dam, power and infrastructure, mentor teams, perform design and field tasks, and serve as Engineer-of-Record.

You will manage scopes, budgets and schedules, collaborate across geographies, develop client relationships, and contribute to proposals and interviews. Travel up to 10–20% required, with emphasis on safety and quality in all work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with reciprocity in other jurisdictions.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Ability to travel 10-20% of the time.
• Field work may include exposure to the elements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the work of engineers on civil projects.
• Perform calculations, field work, and client interaction.
• Mentor junior staff and promote collaboration across geographies.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record on projects.
• Assist in developing scope, budgets, and design; support proposals and client interviews.
