Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead and supervise teams on dam, power, and infrastructure projects. You will perform calculations, field work, coordination, and client interaction across multiple projects.

The role requires a PE license, a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, and 10+ years of experience, with 10–20% travel. Primary location is Lexington, KY with opportunities in Chattanooga, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in at least one jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Ability to travel 10–20% of the time.
• Field work may include exposure to the elements.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and training for junior staff.
• Leading multi-disciplinary teams on proposals and planning studies.
• Serving as Engineer-of-Record on projects.
• Assisting in developing project scope, budgets, and design for various projects.
• Coordinating with clients and marketing teams for opportunities.
