Job summary
Stantec is seeking a Structural Engineer in Lexington, KY to contribute to a range of water-related projects. You’ll work under general supervision on multiple projects, delivering analyses, calculations, and drawings for hydraulic and environmental structures.
Join our team to support design and field activities, collaborate with internal and external teams, and help ensure quality and timely project delivery in a dynamic water resources practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience with spillways, spillway gates, locks, hydropower facilities, and water treatment facilities is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Reservoirs, and other structures.
- Develop drawings, calculations, and specifications under supervision.
- Review contractor shop drawings and provide engineered solutions to RFIs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants and clients.
- Produce 3D models and 2D drawings using Revit and AutoCad.
- Support QC, project schedules, and safety guidelines.
