Bohler Engineering Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead site design, grading, utilities, and permitting across high-profile projects in the Tampa Bay market.

You will serve as a technical resource, guide junior engineers, and ensure design quality, constructability, and compliance using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools. PE is beneficial; EIT required or in progress.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in land development design and permitting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software.
• Contribute to project budgeting, workload planning and task coordination.

In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in all aspects of site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting, while helping ensure design quality, constructability, and compliance. You’ll serve as a trusted technical resource for your team and contribute to the success of complex, high-profile projects across the Tampa Bay market.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in land development design and permitting
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software
• Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and construction requirements
• Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills
• PE license beneficial; EIT required or in progress
