Bohler Engineering Group seeks a Senior Civil Design Engineer in Pittsburgh to lead site design challenges across Western PA. You will own grading, drainage, and utility plans, mentor junior staff, and ensure design quality, compliance, and constructability from concept through construction.

The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, zoning research, and coordination with clients and regulators on high-profile projects. PE beneficial; EIT or in progress preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of land development design and permitting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
• Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and construction requirements.
• Professional Engineer license is beneficial; EIT required or in progress.

Responsabilités

• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.

About the Role

Bohler’s Pittsburgh, PA office is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer who’s ready to take the next step in technical leadership. In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in all aspects of site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting, while helping ensure design quality, constructability, and compliance. You’ll serve as a trusted technical resource for your team and contribute to the success of complex, high-profile projects across the Western PA area.
