Job summary

Bohler’s West Palm Beach, FL office seeks a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead site design, grading, utilities, stormwater, and permitting while ensuring quality and compliance.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients and regulators, and contribute to high-profile Miami-area projects with a strong focus on technical leadership and constructability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• 5+ years of land development design and permitting experience.
• PE license beneficial; EIT required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software.
• Contribute to project budgeting, workload planning, and task coordination.

Bohler’s new West Palm Beach, FL office is seeking aSenior Civil Design Engineerwho’s ready to take the next step in technical leadership. In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in all aspects of site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting, while helping ensure design quality, constructability, and compliance. You’ll serve as a trusted technical resource for your team and contribute to the success of complex, high-profile projects across the Miami area.
