Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Voice Network Engineer to provide infrastructure support for enterprise communications networks at Scott AFB. This full-time role requires delivering tier 3 engineering and hands-on Cisco VoIP expertise, including CUCM and Unity, SBCs, and SIP integrations.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in VoIP, a related Bachelor's degree, CCNP Collaboration, and a TS clearance. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security investigation are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of VoIP/telecommunications engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• CCNP Collaboration certification.
• Hands-on with switches/routers and physical network infrastructure.
• Experience with CUCM and Cisco Unity.
• Network implementation and maintenance experience.
• Ability to adapt to varying workloads and work with all levels.
• US citizen with Top Secret clearance.
• Security investigation program eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 3 engineering and support for voice and communications networks.
• Configure, patch, and enhance Cisco VoIP systems including CUCM and Unity.
• Develop SIP configurations for SBCs and other devices to connect external voice systems.
• Develop SIP connections between VoIP network and customer networks (Asterisk, Call Manager Express, SRST).
