Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an onsite Cisco Call Manager Engineer in Washington, DC, to design, implement and optimize Cisco Unified Communications environments. The role requires monitoring, upgrading and supporting VoIP, video and mobility services while coordinating with IT staff and vendors.

Expect to work with Cisco UC products, maintain IP telephony systems, and resolve issues swiftly. An active TS/SCI clearance and extensive on-site availability in DC are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager and VoIP systems.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Onsite role based in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Network Design and Implementation: design LAN/WAN and VoIP architectures.
• Deployment and Troubleshooting: implement and optimize IP telephony and mobility solutions.
• Software Upgrades: lead Cisco Unified Communications software upgrades.
• Technical Assistance: support network staff on Cisco software, IP phones, and voicemail.
• Coordination: align with IT staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Session Management: plan and execute session management strategies.
• Remote Monitoring: monitor enterprise IPT environments remotely.
• Customer Support: provide end-user support in Cisco VoIP/UCCE environments.
