Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Automation Engineer on the Engineering Systems team to manage code signing, certificates, and encryption frameworks, enabling scalable build pipelines for cloud deployments.

The role demands Python, Groovy, and strong CI/CD experience, plus familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud APIs. Remote-friendly with on-call duties and collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science/Engineering.
• 5+ years in software engineering or DevOps/build engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Manage code signing for binaries, packages, and artifacts across Windows, Linux, and Mac.
• Manage certificate lifecycles: issuance, renewal, revocation, storage.
• Design and maintain encryption, certificate, and code signing frameworks and tooling.
• Identify opportunities to improve operation of existing systems.
• Drive end-to-end improvements from design to delivery for internal customers.
• Produce clear, maintainable code with minimal oversight; provide user documentation.
• Perform code reviews; participate in on-call rotations and incident troubleshooting.
