Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Instructor for Chillers to train customers across North America, delivering classroom and on-site sessions. You will become a subject matter expert on York chillers, develop skilled trainers, and collaborate with instructional designers to design effective learning solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in chiller operations, strong communication, and a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field; travel across the region is required and a remote/virtual

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience with York chillers and ability to perform operational checks, monitoring, and startup tasks.
• Experience in training, coaching or teaching is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex technical material.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning sessions, including live classes and virtual sessions.
• Facilitate learning of advanced materials across multiple expertise areas.
• Develop subject matter expertise in new technology and materials for learning.
• Coordinate appropriate learning environments and Materials for sessions.
• Measure training outcomes and provide constructive feedback to learners.
• Update delivery methods and collaborate with design teams to create learning solutions.
