Position Overview

Senior Instructor for Chillers – Your role will be to design and deliver technical training on York chillers to Johnson Controls employees across North America. You will become a subject‑matter expert, partner with instructional designers, and continually improve learning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live classroom sessions and web‑based learning sessions (synchronous or asynchronous) on York chiller technology.
• Adapt instruction style and content to meet audience needs and technology platforms.
• Define and develop training materials, including lessons, labs, and assessments, using the Learning & Development Process (LDP).
• Measure training effectiveness, report results, and recommend continuous improvements.
• Assist regional and branch personnel with training needs and technical education questions.
• Maintain and upgrade lab equipment and training computers.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience with York chillers and operational checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Education, or related field.
• Articulate written and oral communication and facilitation skills.
• Detail oriented and capable of delivering complex technical content.
• Collaborative and ethical work style with a positive attitude.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: $85,000 – $117,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications). This role offers a competitive bonus plan and a comprehensive benefits package.
