Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. seeks a Chiller Subject Matter Expert (SME) to bridge Engineering, Product Development, L&D, and Field teams. Based near the JADEC facility in New Freedom, PA, you will lead technical training for mechanics and field engineers.

You will translate engineering updates into practical learning content, develop materials, and mentor staff while tracking training effectiveness and field readiness to ensure product knowledge stays current.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of York chiller experience.
• Experience in chiller service or support, Johnson Controls preferred.
• Strong ability to translate complex tech for diverse audiences.
• Proven mentoring and training capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain deep technical knowledge of York chillers across the portfolio.
• Translate engineering updates into field-ready training content.
• Develop and validate technical training materials.
• Mentor chiller mechanics and field engineers.
• Support lab equipment and JADEC training environments.
• Track training effectiveness and field readiness metrics.
