Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United States is seeking a Staff Engineer - Chiller SME to lead multi-functional teams across manufacturing, design, quality, and supply chain for air-cooled screw chiller products used in data centers.

You will apply deep knowledge of mechanical and HVAC refrigerant design to resolve complex issues, guide product testing, DFMEA/SFMEA, and drive improvements with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
• Ability to lead an execution team and coordinate resources.
• Strong communication with internal/external customers and management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement of chiller products.
• Provide technical guidance on design, manufacturing, and service issues.
• Coordinate DFMEA/SFMEA design reviews and reliability test plans.
• Develop and communicate service literature and training materials.
• Collaborate with global teams and warranty groups to address field issues.
