Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Mechanical Product Engineer to drive the next generation of high-performance data center chillers, leading design, testing, performance analysis and project execution from concept to launch.

Based at the Advanced Engineering & Development Center in New Freedom, PA, you will collaborate with global teams, partner with manufacturing, and contribute to sustainable cooling technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electro-Mechanical.
• 5 years experience with CAD software, product design, prototype testing, and design documentation.
• Experience in a design and product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop chiller designs and system configurations.
• Lead testing plans to verify performance and reliability of components and systems.
• Collaborate with design, drafting, and manufacturing teams across the globe.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and design changes.
• Apply regulatory codes such as UL, CE, PED and ASME in design.
• Report on project status and drive continuous improvement.
