The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a Child Protective Services Casework Supervisor to lead a team of caseworkers and support staff in the Rockland unit. You will plan, direct, and monitor activities in child protection, adoption, and substitute care, ensuring service delivery meets quality standards and compliance with state and federal laws.

Qualificações

• Eight (8) years of education and/or professional experience in social work including at least two (2) years as a fully licensed social worker (LSW).
• Preference for candidates with professional child welfare casework experience.
• Knowledge of MACWIS/Katahdin; LMSW/LCSW meets requirement.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, direct and monitor activities of caseworkers and support staff in child protection, adoption and substitute care.
• Assess and assign casework loads; review and guide staff on cases and service delivery.
• Coordinate with other agencies to deliver social services and monitor cooperative agreements.
• Authorize service provision and expenditures; review cases for compliance with laws and standards.
