Job summary

The exempt, full-time position reports to the Regional Manager and requires an MSW or related master's degree with 2–3 years of post-master’s experience, strong communication skills, and bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• MSW or MS/MA in related field with 2-3 years post-master’s experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of Connections software.
• Knowledge of child welfare and related legislation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of family court procedures.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff weekly and provide direction.
• Ensure compliance with ACS and NYS DSS regulations and support permanency goals.
• Monitor Family Team Conferences and relationships with clients and systems.
• Monthly review of progress notes and casework contacts for each caseload.
• Conduct monthly unit meetings with case planners and attend trainings.
• Handle emergencies for case planners and other supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
