Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Child Welfare Services Case Manager Supervisor to oversee case management activities within DFCS, Family and Children Services, reporting to a Child Welfare Services Administrator. The role emphasizes coordination of services, safety, and collaboration with legal systems to ensure outcomes for children and families.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of case management experience, or 1 year at the lower level.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of job-related case management experience; or one (1) year of experience at lower level Child Welfare Svcs Case Mgr 3 (SSP072) or position equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas.
• Access and record client and community resource information
• Coordinate and monitor children in out-of-home placements and in-home interventions
• Develop case plans that effectively utilize community resources to meet needs of individual custodial client
• Identify placement resources for children within the foster care system
• Initiate the legal process for guardianship, protective services, placement and/or adoption
• Make immediate assessments regarding safety of clients and respond according to established protocol and policies
• Work in collaboration with legal system to ensure safety and achieve desired outcomes
