Job summary

Family and Children Services, Division of in Georgia is seeking a Child Welfare Services Case Supervisor to lead a social services unit, oversee investigations and comprehensive case management for child welfare. The role reports to the Child Welfare Administrator and is located in Kingsland, Camden County.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and several years of relevant case management experience, with eligibility for telework depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of job-related case management experience.
• Or one (1) year of experience at a lower level Child Welfare Svcs Case Mgr 3 (SSP072) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and plans work of assigned staff.
• Maintains and records case information and documentation.
• Coordinates and monitors services, including tracking of client activities.
• Develops case plans utilizing community resources to meet needs.
• Initiates guardianship, protective services, placement and/or adoption processes.
• Performs initial investigations of protective services referrals.
