Georgia Department of Human Services seeks a Child Welfare Services Case Manager Supervisor to lead a team in McDonough, Henry County. You will supervise staff, develop case plans, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws to protect children and support families.

The role includes home visits, collaboration with the legal system, and ongoing documentation. DHS offers a strong benefits package, telework options depending on the position, and growth opportunities

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of job-related case management experience; or one (1) year at a lower level.
• Must meet special requirements including reliable transportation and statewide travel.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and plan work of assigned staff.
• Serve as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas.
• Access and record client and community resource information.
• Collect evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare reports per rules and laws.
• Compile records and prepare reports; conduct follow-up on client case status.
• Coordinate home-visit evaluations for information gathering used in assessments.
• Coordinate and monitor children in out-of-home placements and in-home interventions.
• Identify placement resources for children within the foster care system.
• Initiate legal processes for guardianship, protective services, placement and/or adoption.
• Maintain documentation and complete reports; assess safety and respond per protocol.
