Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a Senior Educational Technician (Child Development) at Offutt Air Force Base to lead age-appropriate programming for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. You will coach classroom staff, ensure inclusive practices, and maintain a safe learning environment.

You will partner with the Inclusion Action Team to accommodate diverse needs, while guiding activities and sustaining curriculum quality across the center. This is a frontline instructional leadership role.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive early childhood development knowledge and standards.
• Understanding of developmental stages from 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Clear written and verbal communication with parents, staff, and leaders.
• Ability to adapt activities for varied skill levels and special needs.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and health standards in classroom.
• Analyze issues, gather facts, and implement effective solutions.
• Guide, train, and mentor staff while fostering teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom activities and age-appropriate curriculum.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to lower-graded staff.
• Collaborate with Inclusion Action Team to support children with special needs.
• Conduct daily safety health inspections and ensure facility safety.
