Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service at Offutt AFB seeks an Educational Technician (Child Development) to guide and nurture children from six months to five years old, creating creative learning adventures through music, art, and play.

You will design individualized activity plans, observe development, collaborate with military families, and support a safe, inclusive classroom that fosters growth and curiosity in every child.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of childhood development, regulations, procedures and processes.
• Knowledge of early child development theory, methodology, and practices relating to physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Knowledge of Child Development Center regulations, programs and operations.
• Ability to develop creative and innovative activity and special program plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate developmental care and instruction for CDC children.
• Supervise and oversee a designated classroom.
• Design and execute individualized activity plans.
• Conduct health and developmental observations and implement programs for diverse needs.
