Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Texas seeks a Chief Engineering Sr. Manager for the PAC-3 ACE program within Integrated Air & Missile Defense. The role reports to the PAC-3 Chief Engineer and collaborates with IAMD staff to drive cross-program synergy and lessons learned.

You will lead technical teams, guide design reviews, oversee staffing with an E&T focus, and partner with the USG customer to ensure milestones, affordability, and mission success across development and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Ability to plan and lead technical teams for complex missile systems.
• Ability to communicate status and issues to program leadership and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across engineering disciplines to meet program milestones.
• Support the program through development and transition to production.
• Developing a missile concept aligned with PAC-3 ACE and IBCS familiarity.
• Develop and nurture a productive partnership with the USG customer.
• Guide Engineering teams and cross-functional groups in planning, scheduling, trade studies, design concepts, verification, and life-cycle reviews.
• Ensure program staffing is appropriate from an E&T perspective.
• Collaborate with Engineering Excellence to complete milestones.
• Lead and participate in technical reviews and critical program meetings.
• Communicate lessons learned across the Chief Engineer staff.
