Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Chief Engineer Development for Lower Tier IAMD (LTIAMD) PAC‑3 missile production in Texas. The role leads cross‑functional Product Segment Teams, aligning engineering with production objectives and driving timely resolution of critical issues.

The candidate will require a secret clearance, travel domestically and internationally, and demonstrated leadership across the engineering lifecycle from proposal through production.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Secret clearance (clearance not required to start).
• Experience leading technical solutions from proposal through development (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.).
• Experience with Failure Analysis and Failure Review Boards.
• Familiarity with Engineering & Technology functional organizations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2–3 Product Segment Teams (PSTs) and align execution with production objectives.
• Drive timely resolution of technical issues and ensure proper processes for affordability and milestones.
• Communicate technical status to program leadership, technical leadership, and customers; support technical reviews.
• Maintain liaison with LTIAMD Chief Engineer staff to ensure synergy and lessons learned.
