Job summary

Ford Motor Company in the United States is seeking a Technical Expert (LL6) to lead global suspension system reliability and verification methods. You will drive reliability targets, develop test methods, and coordinate with system and supplier teams to ensure robust durability across applications.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, data analysis, DFMEA/PFMEA, and Six Sigma practices, with leadership responsibility spanning multiple regions.

Qualifications

• BS-Engineering required.
• 10 years of experience in chassis systems and architecture development.
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA, SCCAF, Control Plans and drawings-GD&T.
• Experience analyzing output from CAE and physical test methods.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead suspension system reliability demonstration and testing.
• Ensure best in world quality from initial vehicle quality through high time in service.
• Align reliability targets for 90th percentile use case with item classifications.
• Oversee cascade of reliability targets from vehicle to end item functions.
• Coordinate with global teams, suppliers, and Ford Pro as needed.
• Develop and execute vehicle, system, and lab testing to cover failure modes.
• Analyze data to support test method development and root cause analysis.
• Connect physical tests to design inputs and CAE verification methods.
