Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Technical Expert (LL6) to lead global suspension system reliability and verification methods. You will drive reliability demonstrations, ensure best-in-world quality from design to service, and align end-item performance targets across vehicle systems.

Strong DFMEA/PFMEA, Six Sigma, and leadership skills are required. You will mentor teams, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and connect test methods to design inputs and CAE verification.

Qualifications

• BS-Engineering required.
• 10 years of experience in chassis systems and architecture development.
• Extensive system and component engineering design & release experience.
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA/SCCAF/Control Plans/ drawings-GD&T.
• Experience with problem solving tools – 8D, 5 why, Six Sigma, etc.
• Leadership skills with quality focus and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead suspension system reliability demonstration.
• Ensure world-class quality from initial vehicle quality through high time in service.
• Align cascade of reliability and confidence objectives for end items.
• Coordinate targets for suspension end-item reliability across vehicle to end item.
• Connect physical test methods to design inputs and CAE verification methods.
• Develop, test and analyze data to support test method development and root cause analysis.
