Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Technical Expert (LL6) to lead global suspension system reliability and verification methods. This role focuses on ensuring world-class quality from design through durability testing and supporting cross‑functional teams across regions.

You will develop and execute test strategies, analyze CAE and physical test data, and coach engineers worldwide. Occasional travel to assembly plants is expected, with strong leadership and communication required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• 10 years of experience in chassis systems and architecture development.
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA/Control Plans and drawings (GD&T).
• Experience with problem solving tools – 8D, 5 Why, Six Sigma.
• Experience analyzing CAE and physical test data.
• Leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead suspension system reliability and verification methods.
• Drive stress factors into specifications and test methods to eliminate HTIS failures.
• Collaborate with customer correlation and system specialists for durability verification.
• Lead on suspension diagnostics and prognostics.
• Sign off responsibilities before Chief Signoff; mentor global engineers.
• Support process development and issue resolution across teams.
